Chair Yoga - All Levels

Chair Yoga is a great alternative for people who may not be able to transfer from the floor easily due to weight, joint problems, failty, or simply personal preference. Students are a mix of ages and abilities. Chair classes involve seated poses and some standing poses using the chair for support as needed.

Core Dynamics Pilates - Intermediate

Core Dynamics Pilates Mat class is a movemnet-based approach to Pilates' work created by his former student and modern dancer, Eve Gentry. Basic exercises  in mobility and stability emphasize core strength and movement efficiency. Mat classes begin with these preparations and advance through the classic mat work.

Gentle Basics - All Levels

This is a great class for those new to yoga or those looking for a way to unwind and reset before the week. The pacing will be slow with lots of guidance on how to adapt the poses for your body.

Gentle - All Levels

Gentle yoga meets you where you are, whether you are in recovery from an injury or illness, or you simply prefer a slow pace or more warm-ups. While there are not necessarily beginner classes, this may be a good place to start if you are unsure of your level. 

Gentle/Moderate - All Levels

Gentle/Moderate is a mix of warm-ups and gentle stretching, stabilization poses, strengthening, balancing and relaxation. The practice is a bit more challenging than Gentle classes bu the pace is similar. Modifications are given. Beneficial for all levels of practioners. 

Meditation - All Levels

Looking for inner peace and clairty? Want to feel more calm and grounded? Want to tap into your own heart and feel more alive? Meditation offers us all of these gifts and more. Explore the subtle and profound practice of meditation. In this class a practice of a variety of meditation techiques from different traditions if used to find a practice that meets you where you are in your journey of inner stillness. 

Moderate Yoga - Intermediate

These are our traditional hatha yoga classes. They range in intensity according to the teacher, the make-up of the group, and what we are currently interested in learning and practicing. Beginners can start here if basically fit, but a more gentle approach is oftern recommended for a slower introduction. Moderate classes involve warm-ups and plenty of instruction.

Strength Training - Intermediate

This is an ongoing mind/body strength class, with a focus on breath, alignments, and body awareness. This class uses elements from yoga, pilates, and barre for a thoughtful muscle building workout.
